I have known John and Donel for a quite a while now. When they asked me to design Donel's wedding dress, as well as the dresses for the entourage, I was very excited. It was fun and challenging to do Donel's wedding dress because she and her then-fiancée are based in Singapore. Everything was communicated through e-mail (thank God for technology). 
A couple of weeks before the wedding, John and Donel flew to Manila, and the FINAL (and only) fitting was done. There were of course the minor adjustments, but Donel looked very beautiful in her dress. I was happy to know that she loved it. It was too bad that I had to miss their wedding as I was a bridesmaid in another wedding. I wish John and Donel a very happy life together in Singapore.
